Ludwig Böhme is a German singer (baritone) and choir conductor.
Ludwig Böhme is the son of the St Thomas ' organist, Ullrich Böhme, and the pianist and high school teacher Martina Böhme.
Ludwig Böhme is co-founder of the award-winning Calmus Ensemble Leipzig. Since 2002 he has been head of the prescribed Chamber Choir Josquin des Préz. In this function he is co-initiator of the project "Josquin – Das Projekt", which, together with the chamber choir Josquin des Préz, has performed all the works of the Renaissance master in Leipzig within 13 years. After 36 concerts, the project was completed on September 3, 2017 in the St. Thomas Church in Leipzig.
In addition to the chamber choir Josquin des Préz, Ludwig Böhme has been head of the Leipzig Synagogue choir since April 2012 as the successor of Helmut Klotz.
