About

Attilio Glaser began his training at the Bayerische Singakademie, going on to study with Gabriele Fuchs at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich. He received coachings from Andreas Schmidt.

The German tenor has focused extensively on the concert repertoire since 1996, having given countless solo performances of Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, Mozart’s Requiem, Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis and Ninth Symphony, Dvořák’s Stabat mater and Saint-Saëns’s Oratorio de Noël.

Glaser made his professional operatic debut as Zephyrus in Mozart’s Apollo et Hyacinthus in Munich in 2006. Since 2016, he has been a member of the ensemble of soloists of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, where his repertoire ranges from Tamino in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte to Pong in Puccini’s Turandot. He has also made numerous guest appearances in Europe and China, having collaborated with such conductors as Alain Altinoglu, Christian Thielemann, Myung-Whun Chung and Markus Stenz.

Glaser first performed with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in June and July 2017, when he sang Narraboth in Richard Strauss’s Salome conducted by Daniele Gatti at the Dutch National Opera.
