Overview

Mirror, mirror on the wall, which ballet is the fairest of them all? Why our hour-long, narrated version of Snow White, of course! Journey with the classic characters you know and love, as they discover the power of friendship and prove that belonging can be found in surprising places. With choreography by Bruce Wells (Pinocchio, Beauty and the Beast), and performed by PNB School students, Snow White is a perfect introduction to ballet for younger audiences.

History

Bruce Wells' Snow White brings the classic fairy tale to life through expressive choreography and the lyrical music of Jules Massenet. Filled with magic, adventure, humor, and romance, this enchanting ballet follows Snow White's journey from danger and exile to friendship, love, and ultimate triumph.

Synopsis

Snow White, a kind and beautiful young princess, becomes the target of her jealous stepmother, the Queen, whose magical mirror declares that Snow White has surpassed her in beauty. Determined to remain the fairest in the land, the Queen orders Snow White's death.

Escaping into the forest, Snow White discovers a safe haven among a group of devoted companions who welcome and protect her. Meanwhile, the Queen devises a new plan to destroy her rival, disguising herself and presenting Snow White with a poisoned gift.

After falling under a powerful spell, Snow White appears lost forever until the arrival of a prince whose love and devotion break the enchantment. Reunited and restored, Snow White overcomes the Queen's cruelty and finds happiness, proving that kindness, courage, and love are stronger than jealousy and fear.

Through its magical storytelling and emotional warmth, Snow White celebrates the enduring values of friendship, compassion, and hope.
